about

How much can you hold in your brain and for what duration of time? For example, in 1 second can you calculate change for a $3.77 muffin paid for with a $10 bill? How about the clearance of your SUV with roof rack as you pull into an unusually low-ceiling parking structure, did you check the owner's manual for height? Is it safe to assume it fits? And how much, off hand, can you tell me about the environmental devastation the DAPL will cause? How about how much Kelcy Warren of Energy Transfer Partners stands to profit from it?
When your iPhone won't charge, is it the cheap cord you bought at the gas station and HOPED wouldn't immediately break (despite your experience that it would), or is it the lint accumulated in the phone's charging port? What makes those cords so delicate and will wrapping them in electrical tape help? Is it possible to outlaw planned obsolescence? To culturally discourage it?
What I'm sayin is, there are problems, and there are so many potential solutions. Sure, only $6.23 makes the change for the muffin, but did I know that in the 1 second window it took to convince the muffin purchaser off my mental competence? And the roof rack fits in the lot! Barely! But what if next time I'm in this structure the soil has moved and I drive in with quick confidence and scrape the top of my rack?

There's a lot to hold in the mind at any given moment. How to keep sure footing? By spreading out the footing, left and right.
To hold in the mind both the subject and its substrate, the thing and the context in which it exists,

THE YIN AND THE YANG,

which is, at its very least, a rhythm, a call and a response.

A:b::B:a

Not opposites but poles, markers of an interval.

I'm talking about music here, hearing what isn't and making it. I'm talking about agency here, imagining an action and taking it. I'm talking about creation here, imagining a thing and making it.

I just want YOU, yes YOU, to have maximum agency in your existence. To be as free from oppression and domination as possible. To live exactly as you want to live without worry that your imagination mis-imagined. Those cars' brake lights up ahead aren't on, that wouldn't make sense, so why do they LOOK like they're on??

I want to, with Yin and Yang and You, discover freedom from evil, disembodied authorities.

Thank you to Miles Wintner for ripping guitar on this album! And drums! Let me tell you, this guy is talented.
